Aaron Wolf joined the Aligned Intermediary team shortly after AI’s inception in 2015, bringing experience in climate change, energy, and the environment from both public and philanthropic sectors. Prior to this, he worked as Director of Programs with the CREO Syndicate, helping family offices build capacity and increase investment in cleantech, renewables, and environmental opportunities.
At the Clinton Foundation, Aaron was an Orfalea-Brittingham Fellow for the Clinton Climate Initiative, where he helped developing islands in the Pacific transition to renewable energy. President Clinton approved Aaron’s post-fellowship proposal to incubate a new program, which focused on accelerating game-changing and climate related technologies by taking an inclusive pipeline approach to building technological, financial, and governmental partnerships.
In the public sector, Aaron worked at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, where he developed a regional strategic plan to create a state of readiness for future offshore renewable energy development. Aaron also served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives where he worked on the landmark American Clean Energy and Security Act (Waxman-Markey) and on appropriations related to energy and the environment. Aaron holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California, Sol Price School of Public Policy, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park.
